The jig head is built in and matched to each body — heavy-wire hooks 1/0 to 7/0. Tie it on, count it down, fish it.
One family, 2–20 meters
Four weights from 12 g to 170 g (±5 g) cover shallow perch flats to deep trophy-pike drop-offs. Pick the water; the weight is already right.

Field Tactics
Count-down control (all sizes)
Cast, let it sink on a tight line and count. Roughly one second per half-meter in still water — count to six for a 3 m shelf, adjust from there. When you know the count, you know the depth, cast after cast.
Cold water / pressured fish (N12 · N32)
Winter zander won't chase. Work it along the structure, let the bait settle, then retrieve so slowly the tail is barely working. The strike rarely feels like a tap: the lure just goes heavy — strike hard immediately.
Deep drop-offs & current (N85 · N170)
Let the heavy weights crash the bottom, then hop with two or three sharp turns and a long pause. Most hits come as the bait falls, so watch your line.
River groyne lanes (N12)
Fish parallel to the rocks, not across. First lane tight to the stone fill, then a meter farther out each cast, until you find the seam where the current starts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to add a jig head?
No — every RL5601 ships with a weight-matched jig head built in, on heavy-wire hooks from 1/0 (N12) up to 7/0 (N170). Rig it on your leader and fish it straight away.
Which size should I start with?
N32 (12.5 cm / 32 g) is the all-round bridge size for zander and pike. Go N12 for shallow perch and canal fish, N85 or N170 for deep lakes, drop-offs and trophy pike.
Can I use these in saltwater?
Yes — the N85 and N170 are proven for sea bass and cod from the shore. Rinse them in freshwater after each session.
What is the body made of?
Soft PVC with a realistic scale finish and 3D eyes, poured over a weighted jig head. Weight tolerance is ±5 g per the spec table.
How do I pick the right weight?
Match depth: roughly 5 g per 2 m in still water, one size heavier in current or wind. N12 fishes 2–5 m, N32 5–10 m, N85 8–15 m, N170 10–20 m as angler-reference values.
