The SL1011 is a fork-tail soft jig swimbait with the weight built in: a high-density cast-lead core poured around an internal wire harness anchors two forged single hooks, so there is nothing to assemble — cast it, work it, and let the fork tail do the talking.

Unlike standard swimbaits that need an external jig head or fragile screw-locks, the SL1011 carries its lead inside: poured directly around an internal heavy-gauge harness that also anchors both hooks. The seamless fusion keeps the centre of gravity low for maximum casting distance in heavy crosswinds, and the bait descends level instead of nosing over through drift current.

Why Dual Single Hooks Instead of Trebles

Two open single hooks ride along the belly. Singles offer deeper penetration and greater holding power in hard-jawed predators without flexing or bending, and they slide through kelp, rocky pinnacles and bottom debris far easier than treble hooks — fewer snags, fewer lost lures, and far less leverage for a fish to throw the hook during headshakes.

How to Fish It

Cast & twitch: long casts across current seams or along coastal ledges, then short rod twitches — the fork tail darts sideways between pauses like a fleeing baitfish.
Let it fall: on a semi-slack line the bait holds a level posture and the tail quivers on the descent — heavily pressured predators strike on the fall.
Vertical work: over wrecks, reefs and deep structure, lift and drop the bait with long rod strokes; it glides back down level on every pause.
Trolling: the tight tail vibration holds up at slow troll speeds along contour lines.
