How to Fish It

Two retrieves cover most situations. Slow-roll & glide: keep the rod tip low and wind one slow turn every two seconds — the head cuts forward while the curl waves behind it, perfect for sweeping weed-edge patrols. Cold-water twitch & hover: twitch the rod tip twice, then let it fall on a semi-slack line for 3–5 seconds — the curly tail keeps pulsing on the drop, and that is where most cold-water strikes happen.
